I have no idea why, but I needed some classic Barbra today. It’s mostly her 60s period with a few of her more restrained stuff from the later part of her career. While I love me some “Woman in Love,” the way she sings Rodgers and Hart or Harold Arlen are as classic as Maria Callas singing Bellini.
